It's "KAMBING JANTAN"

This novel contains a collection of stories of everyday silly and unique from Raditya Dika, a student from the marriage of the Batak and sewing machines (As written on the back cover of the book). Actually this novel is the diary of Raditya Dika he wrote on the internet (blogs). All the funny stories that exist in this novel is the true story of the author (Radith) from years 2002-2004.

The novel is very useful for relieving stress and confusion, especially for teenagers. Because in this novel Raditya Dika write personal story with very plain and make the reader entertained.

After high school, Dika (Raditya Dika), which has the nickname Goat, should continue their education in Adelaide, Australia, took the title of finance that is not according to their interests. So began the journey of life Dika search for identity.

As he goes to college in Australia, problems arise with Kebo, his girlfriend, because it must undergo a Long Distance Relationship (LDR), which causes huge financial outlay, communications disrupted, and that the longer the life course makes them different.

Other problems such as how Dika have difficulty in learning, and the emergence of Sally Dickson, professor of Caucasians are more like women soldiers, adding to the dilemma the Goat in resolving problems LDR and finance (in two real sense: the need finance his and school finance her).

Encounter with an elementary friend, Ine (Sarah Shafitri), which reads Dika blog titled "Kambingjantan", opened his mind that he could be a writer of comedy. The next day the life story of an extremely stupid and ridiculous it makes him a very special experience unforgettable.

Now I will explain about my dream job


My dream job is Civil Engineer, I think that was a great job, because of I really like things about constructing a building and when I was child, my toys were kind of building something like cube and puzzle, so I like to do something that have a relation with constructing.


I know that Indonesia is a developing country, so I think a civil engineer is still needed for this country.


Maybe most of you and me too, still don't know what is the difference between Architect and Civil Engineer, right?


So:)) now I will give you information about that :


Architect :


•Build public or private structures.
•Focus on the aesthetic principles of design. In school, you will take more art-related classes and fewer engineering- and science-related courses.
•Acquire the relevant certifications in the field of architecture.

Civil Engineer :

Build public or private structures, with a focus on public structures.

Also build hydroelectric dams, canals, roadways, or other structures with useful functions in society.

Focus on science and engineering. In college, you will take fewer art-related classes and learn a lot more engineering and physics than you would if you majored in architecture. This major is usually considered more “difficult.”

Acquire the relevant certifications in the field of civil engineering.

I can tell that I'm lucky live in Bandung, because there was a great university of civil engineering. Yeah, it was ITB, i hope i could study there, AAMIIN:))

okay, now i'm at 12th grade, so i must to study hard, pray, and find more information about collage.

Peace

What in your mind if someone talk about peace?

Maybe that quotes was very simple, but i think, it contains a lot of meaning.

Most of us do not understand the notion essentially of a word "Peace", perhaps most of us simply means" Peace "course. From many sources that I know of the meaning of the word "Peace" is: Peace can be interpreted a state in which a person feels safe, peaceful, free from interference from noise in the city by moving to the village, or also can mean "peace", that atmosphere is back to normal due to the absence of a state of war time.

Peace in my understanding is when we can express the difference to the difference of opinion with no sense of fear, but in a calm way and still have a sense of authority with serenity and breathtaking honesty and tolerance, respect in attitude and speechless.

Peace is also about feeling calm and open to other people, other tribes, other religions, other languages, other nations and other groups without feeling, uncomfortable, embarrassed, keeping a distance, distinguish, cornering, disgusted to come together to solve problems or just talk to the other people in daily life.


When we come together with one class, creed, ethnicity, principles, religion, language would be very easy to say, "It is our peace and harmony" But it will be difficult if they get together with different groups or others with us. If so I say; meaning that there is no peace in our lives.

The Next Leader

Being a Leader was not easy. If to be a leader who carelessly does not prosecuted certain conditions / minimum. A leader should have a stock-provision of at least the following:

a. Has Charisma
Being a leader is not easy. Not as easy as you might imagine. He must be prepared intellectually and morally. Because it would be a figure that is expected to more people / subordinates. Behavior must be exemplary / exemplary. A leader is someone who has the ability above average ability subordinates. In short: a leader must have charisma. The characteristics of a leader who has charisma is:
1. The behavior is commendable
2. Honest and trustworthy
3. Holding commitment
4. Consistent with speech
5. Having enough moral religion.

b. Have Courage
Not funny when a leader does not have the courage. Minimal courage to speak, express opinions, argue and boldly defend the truth. More specifically courage is shown in bold commitment to defend the right, holding on the right of establishment, is not afraid to fail, dare to take risks and dare to be responsible.

c. Have the ability to influence others
One of the characteristics that someone has leadership is the ability to influence a person to achieve a certain goal. With the ability to communicate, it can affect others. As for ways to influence others include:
1. Make the other person feel important
2. Helping the difficulties of others
3. Suggests insight with a positive outlook
4. Do not put others down
5. Having excess or expertise.

d. Capable of Making Strategy
A leader should be identical to a strategist. Forward the resignation of the company, failure-success of an organization, are determined by the strategy designed by the company or the organization's leaders. The criteria for a leader who is able to draw up a strategy:
1. Mastering the terrain
2. Having insight
3. Think smart
4. Creative and innovative
5. Being able to see the problem in a comprehensive manner
6. Able to develop priorities
7. Being able to predict the future.

e. Has the moral high
Many people argue that morality is a quality measure whether or not a person's life. Let alone a leader who will be a role model. A leader is a role model is morally justifiable. Signs of a high moral leader:
1. Do not hurt others
2. Appreciate anyone
3. Be polite
3. Not like conflict
4. Not hasty
5. Do not want to have that is not right
6. His words controlled and calculating
7. His behavior can be used as an example.

f. Capable of being Mediator
A wise leader is able to act in a fair and objective thinking. Two things are going to support the task of leadership to become a mediator. Terms mediator includes several criteria:
1. Think positive
2. Every problem has always been at the center
3. Have the ability to lobby
4. Able to seat a problem proportionally
5. Being able to distinguish between personal interests and the public interest.

g. Capable of being Motivator
Relationship with the motivation of a leader is that a leader as well as a motivator. Thus it should be. Leadership is a central point and the starting point of a step will begin. Motivation will be born if the leadership realizes its function as a motivator. Signs of a leader aware of its function as a motivator:
1. Have a concern to others
2. Being able to be a good listener
3. Calls upon the goodness
4. Being able to convince other people
5. Trying to understand the wishes of others.

h. Have a Sense of Humor
Will be easier to carry out the task of leadership a leader - if supported by humorous nature of leadership - it has humor. Said the humor is more important than salary increases. Including category leaders who have a sense of humor is as follows:
1. Cheap smile
2. Being able to break the ice atmosphere
3. Being able to create a refreshing sentence
4. Rich story and humorous stories

DEWA ATHENA

Dewa Athena is a sports event that held once a year.

There were much sports, such like Futsal, Basketball, Table Tennis, Tarik Tambang, Dodgeball, Badminton, and many more!!!

I was very disappointed that my class can not attend the opening ceremony of Dewa Athena, which is color run, because at that time we are facing the final exam. But it's okay, because we didn't miss the event.

In this event, i won Table Tennis. That was the first time i played Table Tennis for a championship. I'm very happy because my practice didn't vain.

At the final, i met my ex classmate, his name is "Muhammad Nur Ihsan", He was very agile. First I thought i won't win from Ihsan, but i start believe my self and do my best... and Finally i won the title.

From this event, we got really much lessons, but i think these quotes is the most important lesson

A love song will be succeed because of few things. But the main thing is the power of romantic lyrics and the singer's interpretation and appreciation for the love song. All of Me is a love song that actually has material that cliche, but in the hands of John Legend, he change shapes into a song that is very provocative.

Why not? Although only with piano, John Legend managed to bring a song that has a strong dynamics. Melody sounded so sweet in the ears, while John Legend singing sounded so emotional, had successfully fused with the piano into a unity, that if the purpose for blue-listener, he was successful for it.

The strength of the All of Me is the ability to influence the listener not only to enjoy, but to permeate every line of lyrics. Collaboration between music and vokallah who made the All of Me could be a song that is very immersive.

Guardians of the Galaxy

In 1988, following his mother's death, a young Peter Quill is abducted from Earth by the Ravagers, a group of space pirates led by Yondu Udonta. Twenty-six years later on the planet Morag, Quill steals an orb, after which Korath, a subordinate to the fanatical Kree, Ronan, intercepts him. Although Quill escapes with the orb, Yondu discovers his theft and issues a bounty for his capture, while Ronan sends the assassin Gamora after the orb.

When Quill attempts to sell the orb on the Nova Empire capital world, Xandar, Gamora ambushes him and steals it. A fight ensues, drawing in a pair of bounty hunters: the genetically engineered raccoon Rocket, and the tree-like humanoid Groot. The Nova Corps arrives and arrests all four, imprisoning them in the Kyln. While there, a powerful inmate, Drax, attempts to kill Gamora due to her association with Ronan, who killed his family. Quill convinces Drax that Gamora can bring Ronan to him. Gamora reveals that she has betrayed Ronan, unwilling to let him use the orb's power to destroy planets, starting with Xandar. Learning that Gamora has a buyer for the orb, she, Quill, Rocket, Groot, and Drax work together to escape from the Kyln.

Elsewhere, Ronan meets with Gamora's adoptive father, Thanos, to discuss her betrayal. Accompanied by Drax, Quill's group escapes the Kyln in his ship – the Milano – and flees to Knowhere, a remote criminal outpost in space built in the giant severed-head of a Celestial. A drunken Drax summons Ronan while the rest of the group meet Gamora's contact, the collector Taneleer Tivan. Tivan opens the orb, revealing an Infinity Stone, an item of immeasurable power that destroys all but the most powerful beings who wield it. Suddenly, Tivan's tormented assistant grabs the Stone, triggering an explosion that engulfs Tivan's archive.

Ronan arrives and easily defeats Drax, while the others flee by ship, pursued by Ronan's followers and Gamora's sister Nebula. Nebula destroys Gamora's ship, leaving her floating in space, and Ronan's forces capture the orb. Quill contacts Yondu before following Gamora into space, giving her his helmet to survive; Yondu arrives and retrieves the pair. Rocket, Drax, and Groot threaten to attack Yondu's ship to rescue them, but Quill negotiates a truce by convincing Yondu that they can recover the orb. Quill's group agrees that facing Ronan means certain death, but that they cannot let him use the Infinity Stone to destroy the galaxy. On Ronan's flagship, the Dark Aster, Ronan embeds the Stone in his warhammer, taking its power for himself. He contacts Thanos, threatening to kill him after the destruction of Xandar; hateful of her adopted father, Nebula allies with Ronan.

Near Xandar, the Ravagers, the Nova Corps, and Quill’s group, which breaches the Dark Aster, confront the Dark Aster. Ronan uses his empowered warhammer to destroy the Nova Corps fleet. On the Dark Aster, after Gamora defeats Nebula (who escapes), she unlocks Ronan's chambers, but the group find themselves outmatched by his power until Rocket crashes the Milano through the Dark Aster. The damaged Dark Aster crash-lands on Xandar, with Groot sacrificing himself to shield the group. Ronan emerges from the wreck and prepares to destroy Xandar, but Quill distracts him, allowing Drax and Rocket to destroy Ronan's warhammer. Quill grabs the freed Stone, and with Gamora, Drax, and Rocket sharing its burden, they use it to destroy Ronan.

In the aftermath, Quill tricks Yondu into taking a container supposedly containing the Stone, and gives the real Stone to the Nova Corps. As the Ravagers leave Xandar, Yondu remarks that it turned out well that they did not deliver Quill to his father per their contract. Quill's group, now known as the Guardians of the Galaxy, have their criminal records expunged, and Quill learns that he is only half-human, his father being part of an ancient, unknown species. Quill finally opens the last present he received from his mother: a cassette tape filled with her favorite songs. The Guardians leave in the rebuilt Milano along with a sapling cut from Groot.

Nothern lights or Aurora Borealis

What are Northern Lights?

The bright dancing lights of the aurora are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere. The lights are seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres. They are known as 'Aurora borealis' in the north and 'Aurora australis' in the south..
Auroral displays appear in many colours although pale green and pink are the most common. Shades of red, yellow, green, blue, and violet have been reported. The lights appear in many forms from patches or scattered clouds of light to streamers, arcs, rippling curtains or shooting rays that light up the sky with an eerie glow.

What causes the Northern Lights?

The Northern Lights are actually the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Variations in colour are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding. The most common auroral color, a pale yellowish-green, is produced by oxygen molecules located about 60 miles above the earth. Rare, all-red auroras are produced by high-altitude oxygen, at heights of up to 200 miles. Nitrogen produces blue or purplish-red aurora.

The connection between the Northern Lights and sunspot activity has been suspected since about 1880. Thanks to research conducted since the 1950's, we now know that electrons and protons from the sun are blown towards the earth on the 'solar wind'. (Note: 1957-58 was International Geophysical Year and the atmosphere was studied extensively with balloons, radar, rockets and satellites. Rocket research is still conducted by scientists at Poker Flats, a facility under the direction of the University of Alaska at Fairbanks - see web page 

The temperature above the surface of the sun is millions of degrees Celsius. At this temperature, collisions between gas molecules are frequent and explosive. Free electrons and protons are thrown from the sun's atmosphere by the rotation of the sun and escape through holes in the magnetic field. Blown towards the earth by the solar wind, the charged particles are largely deflected by the earth's magnetic field. However, the earth's magnetic field is weaker at either pole and therefore some particles enter the earth's atmosphere and collide with gas particles. These collisions emit light that we perceive as the dancing lights of the north (and the south).

The lights of the Aurora generally extend from 80 kilometres (50 miles) to as high as 640 kilometres (400 miles) above the earth's surface.

Where is the best place to watch the Northern Lights?

Northern Lights can be seen in the northern or southern hemisphere, in an irregularly shaped oval centred over each magnetic pole. The lights are known as 'Aurora borealis' in the north and 'Aurora australis' in the south. Scientists have learned that in most instances northern and southern auroras are mirror-like images that occur at the same time, with similar shapes and colors.

Because the phenomena occurs near the magnetic poles, northern lights have been seen as far south as New Orleans in the western hemisphere, while similar locations in the east never experience the mysterious lights. However the best places to watch the lights (in North America) are in the northwestern parts of Canada, particularly the Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Alaska. Auroral displays can also be seen over the southern tip of Greenland and Iceland, the northern coast of Norway and over the coastal waters north of Siberia. Southern auroras are not often seen as they are concentrated in a ring around Antarctica and the southern Indian Ocean.

Areas that are not subject to 'light pollution' are the best places to watch for the lights. Areas in the north, in smaller communities, tend to be best.

When is the best time to watch for auroral displays?

Researchers have also discovered that auroral activity is cyclic, peaking roughly every 11 years. The next peak period is 2013.
Winter in the north is generally a good season to view lights. The long periods of darkness and the frequency of clear nights provide many good opportunities to watch the auroral displays. Usually the best time of night (on clear nights) to watch for auroral displays is local midnight (adjust for differences caused by daylight savings time).

Legends of the Lights

'Aurora borealis', the lights of the northern hemisphere, means 'dawn of the north'. 'Aurora australis' means 'dawn of the south'. In Roman myths, Aurora was the goddess of the dawn. \par Many cultural groups have legends about the lights. In medieval times, the occurrences of auroral displays were seen as harbingers of war or famine. The Maori of New Zealand shared a belief with many northern people of Europe and North America that the lights were reflections from torches or campfires.

The Menominee Indians of Wisconsin believed that the lights indicated the location of manabai'wok (giants) who were the spirits of great hunters and fishermen. The Inuit of Alaska believed that the lights were the spirits of the animals they hunted: the seals, salmon, deer and beluga whales. Other aboriginal peoples believed that the lights were the spirits of their people.

My Holiday Story

Hi everyone:))! Now, I will tell you about My Holiday

It was the end of the year 2014. I, my mother and brother prepared everything to roast many food for New Year’s eve. At the morning we went to market to bought everything that we need for new year’s eve, such as chicken, beef, sausage, fish, and many more.

I slept during the day, I hope I could be awake all over the night. At 9 pm, the sound of fireworks was heared. So the sky at that night is very beautiful, that was really different with others night in 2014.

The roasting started at 10 pm, I I helped my mother to prepared roasting tools. At the first, we were on trouble to kindle the fire, when suddenly my father was came to home from his office. My father told us to use a mini fan so we could be easily to kindle the fire and….. it worked, I and my father was really happy. And we started the roasting.

After the roasting was finished, we took a plate and ate the roasting that we have made, and it tasted very very very delicious, I swear that was the most delicious satay that I have ever ate, you have to taste it too. After that my stomach is got bigger, because I ate so many satay and rice of course.

After all of that my parents went to slept, but I was still waited for the new year’s eve with my brother. We played some games to waited that moments. I also cooked sausage and French fries for us.

The time was 11.59 pm, and we started to counted down. 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 …….. 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONEEE!!!! The sound of fireworks now was louder, and the shape was more amazing than before. i said all of my wishes at this new year, i wish this is better year than previously. AAMIIIN
